stem in action 在 A Happy Mum Facebook 的精選貼文
The things I do for my kids stem from LOVE - which includes training them to help with chores from young in the hope of empowering them and instilling a sense of responsibility.
That said, I am also wary of the harmful effects of harsh chemicals on their tender hands, which is why organic natural products are very much preferred when it comes to cleaning our home.
We have been using the Multi-Purpose Cleaner from @onev.sg which is organic, non-toxic, chemical-free and suitable for sensitive skin. It can be applied on any washable surface with no rinsing required and is perfect for general house-keeping, cleaning kitchen stoves and killing fungus in the bathroom. Swipe to see more pics of the kids in action and while cleaning is tiring, it makes them feel accomplished too.
What I find interesting is that ONEV, which stands for Organic Natural Extract Vinegar, makes use of one main ingredient - which is wood vinegar extracted from pine trees and contains more than 200 organic components. By purposefully planting and cutting only the trees that it needs, ONEV achieves sustainable agriculture with carbon negative, zero waste and a fully renewable process.
I initially expected the smell of vinegar to be overpowering but surprisingly, my girls liked it and even said it reminded them of fried bacon, haha. What is most important is that while being gentle on hands and skin, this natural product is highly effective and gets the job done.
The Multi-Purpose cleaner is now going at $11.90 or you can get a bundle deal (buy 3 get 1 free) at $35.70. To find out more, visit @onev.sg or www.onev.sg. Use my promo code "SUMMER15" to enjoy 15% off when you purchase any of their products.

(The vice president of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, stated, "We are aware of the successful model of prevention that the government and the people of Taiwan have put into practice, and we've asked the Taiwanese ambassador to make a presentation on this successful model, because they've not only managed to contain the virus, but they've kept their population from panicking.")

It's been quite awhile since my last upload and the previous uploads were very gear focused too. Wanted to talk about something I've been thinking a lot for awhile. Creativity often times has been used as crutch to shield ourselves from negative feedback or descriptions of our work that we don't necessarily like. We see it all them in comments and sometimes in our own responses. Awhile back I posted a video about mistakes street photographers are making and some people took it a little too personally and reached out saying how I shouldn't gate keep things and that I didn't know what I was talking about.
I think a lot of these reactions, sometimes including my own, stem from insecurities that we might have towards our work and maybe, in ourselves. Would love to know what you think about this

?? THE POWER OF SELF-AWARENESS ??❤️
We’ve all heard of words like self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth ... but how about self-awareness? What exactly is self-awareness and what is the power of self-awareness?
Self-awareness is the ability to focus and evaluate our thoughts, feelings and actions. It ultimately allows us to master our emotions and not let our emotions master us. As a life coach, I hope to empower you to understand the concept of self-awareness.
The Cycle of Self-Awareness:
1. THOUGHTS - We can’t control the thoughts that pop in our head, but we can control which thoughts to focus on and which to dismiss. Although it’s good to focus on positive thoughts, we can’t simply ignore the negative ones. When we have negative thoughts, are these facts or merely opinions? Let’s tackle the negative facts and dismiss the negative opinions.
2. FEELINGS - What we feel, influences our actions. We need to be mindful and aware of the feelings that arise from our thoughts. Are we feeling positive or negative from our thoughts? When negative feelings emerge, let’s ask ourselves why and determine the root cause.
3. ACTIONS - We can either choose to REACT, an emotional action (“immature”) or RESPOND, a rational action (“mature”). When we are aware of the feelings which stem from our thoughts and the root causes of them, we have full control to respond rationally.
4. OUTCOMES - Our outcomes are a direct result of our actions. If we react emotionally, this will lead to a viscous cycle of negative thoughts, negative feelings and negative outcomes. As such, we must respond rationally and take control of our outcomes.
This process will take time and patience. So let’s be gentle and loving with ourselves! Next time we have a negative thought in our head which we cannot merely dismiss, let’s take a few moments to be mindful of how we are feeling. Should we react emotionally and let our emotions take the better part of us or respond rationally and take control of our emotions? When we choose to respond rationally, notice how it changes our outcomes !
